(WATCH IN HD WITH THE LIGHTS TURNED OFF!)

This is a Short Horror film I made for my last college project in Creative Media Production, before I went off to University. We were given the chance to individually make a film of our own choice, of varied length and subject matter.

My film is based around a teenage boy who finds himself being stalked by the mythical being 'Slender Man' over a period of days. It has been heavily inspired by the game 'Slender' by Parsec Productions, as well as many horror films I have been influenced by.

It was awarded best short film for our year group, when shown at our student screening at the Duke of York's Cinema, Brighton.

Filmed on a Canon EOS 550D with both 18-55mm and 50mm 1.8 lenses used.

MC5 - Kick Out The Jams (full album)

Posted by Coola at May 20, 2017, 5:00 pm in music , tags: MC5 1960 punk rock n roll

MC5 was an American rock band from Lincoln Park, Michigan, formed in 1964. The original band line-up consisted of vocalist Rob Tyner, guitarists Wayne Kramer and Fred "Sonic" Smith, bassist Michael Davis, and drummer Dennis Thompson. "Crystallizing the counterculture movement at its most volatile and threatening", according to AllMusic critic Stephen Thomas Erlewine, the MC5's leftist political ties and anti-establishment lyrics and music positioned them as emerging innovators of the punk movement in the United States. Their loud, energetic style of back-to-basics rock and roll included elements of garage rock, hard rock, blues rock, and psychedelic rock.... read more

The Creeps -- Enjoy The Creeps 1986

Posted by Coola at May 13, 2017, 5:27 pm in music , tags: garage rock n roll The Creeps

SCREENSHOT

An uninhibited, unpretentious garage rock band, the Creeps were formed in Sweden in 1985. Taking as their principal starting point the work of the Animals, Robert Jelinek (vocals, guitar), Hans Ingemansson (Hammond organ), Anders Olsson (bass) and Patrick Olson (drums) have become something of a Scandinavian Hamsters via their hard-gigging schedule. Their debut album, Now Dig This, was released in 1988. Their most popular song, ‘Ooh I Like It’, became a major Swedish hit two years later, and was eventually voted Best Song Of The Year by MTV viewers in 1990. The parent album, Blue Tomato, proved another major success, though the Creeps’ fixation with live performance has never been properly converted to the studio. Such was the scale and intensity of their touring that they were forced to take a career break in the early 90s with various members on the verge of nervous breakdowns. Refreshed, they returned in 1993 with the typically upbeat Seriouslessness, a superbly rendered collection of bar-room R&B songs.... read more
